Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your optional ExpoCut account (provided by ExpoTechIn) and associated data. ExpoCut can be used without an account; an account is created only when you choose to verify an email address for optional account features. You can delete it at any time using the in-app flow below.
1. How to request account deletion
In the ExpoCut app:
- Open Settings ▸ Membership ▸ Account ▸ Delete account.
- Review what deletion affects, reauthenticate with the one-time code sent to your verified email, and confirm permanent deletion.
- The app reports whether the request completed or needs support. Server-side account data is deleted or anonymized without avoidable delay and no later than 30 days, subject to the limited legal retention below.
If you cannot access the in-app flow, email [email protected] for support. Signing out only removes local account credentials and is not account deletion.
2. What is deleted
When we process a deletion request, we permanently remove all data tied to your account, including:
- Your email identifier and email-verification record.
- Your linked RevenueCat customer profile and purchase history held for ExpoCut subscription processing; deleting it does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
- Your license file(s) and the device bindings associated with the account.
- Your affiliate code, referral records, and any pending or earned affiliate balances.
- Your account activity history (sign-ins, plan changes, device migrations).
- Subscription/invoice records linked to your account.
3. What we never had, and what is kept
- Payment details: we never receive or store your card or payment information — all billing is handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Your projects, media, and exports live only on your device. We never upload or store them, so there is nothing on our side to delete — removing them is done by deleting them in the app or uninstalling it.
- Legally required records: where the law requires us to retain a minimal transaction record (for example a purchase or refund event and amount, for tax and accounting), we keep it in de-identified form for the period required by law — up to 7 years — after which it is permanently deleted. It is no longer linked to your identity.
4. Important: cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your ExpoCut account does not cancel an active paid subscription, because subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us. The app provides a Manage Subscription link before confirmation, but you may continue with account deletion immediately. Cancel separately in the Apple App Store or Google Play if you do not want the subscription to renew (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
